Rolex explorer 36mm? I just tried on the 40mm Explorer for the first time on my 6.5" wrist- I wear a DJ41 regularly, and I felt the 40mm Explorer looked "too big for what it is". The other day I had an opportunity to try the new Explorer, and as an owner of the previous iteration (Mark II), I have to admit that 36mm looks much more balanced. I was just about to order a 39mm Explorer, but I had a premonition that the Milgauss Z Blue was on the way out and ordered it on Friday last week. The rest is history. Just got it yesterday. I have been thinking about purchasing an Explorer 1 as believe they have a sort of class about the model without being to stand out. I currently have a Sub Bluesy but would keep this and go for an Explorer for day to day wear. Does the forum think this would be a good solid watch to purchase?? Explorer I - 39mm.
