Breitling Navitimer 01 Limited Edition AB0123. Breitling's finest model, hands down. The Navitimer is classic Breitling, and a design that has endured the test of time and still finds itself at the top of the pile in the Aeronautical inspired watches. THE pilots timepiece. I own the navitimer Hetiage and was able to compare it with new Navitimer 1 41mm at my AD. Heritage is way better made watch - subdials are more elaborate, hands are thicker and more visible then on Navitimer 1 and Heritage projects more quality when light plays with dial and hands.
I like that Breitling left the rest of the dial and hands the same as the old Navi. Thank goodness they fought the trend to apply gratuitous after thoughts such as painted sub dial hands. It would have ruined this classic. The watch is the latest evolutionary version of the original Navitimer introduced in 1952. It features a 46mm case, with Breitling’s in house movement, the B01, and a transparent case-back (Pic 3). The movement was first unveiled at Baselworld 2009.

I’m looking to purchase my first Breitling watch and the Navitimer has always stood out to me as a gorgeous watch. I found one on a local watch forum that’s a full set with 2021 papers. The seller is asking 2000 euros for it. All advice regarding the price and things to look out for are greatly appreciated as well as general experiences . I realize the 2nd model has the updated Breitling Logo and is considered "newer" but as far as my untrained eye can tell is identical to the previous version of the 46mm navitimer (aside from winged logo). Navitimer B01 reliability and servicing. As my B50 Cockpit has returned to Breitling for the second time I'm considering switching to a Navitimer. As a long time lurker I have seen the many posts regarding the reliability of the B01 movement.
Good pick. Navitimer’s the most iconic of the entire Breitling catalog IMO and the most badass of the pilot watches. Get yourself a black leather strap for this one and you have two very distinct looks for different occasions
